Shield Decorating Ltd. is committed to continue staff training in both health and safety and specialist work requirements:

C.S.C.S Training (Construction Skills Certification Scheme): All operatives have relevant Health and Safety requirement for site work.

N.V.Q Training: Levels 2 and 3 qualifications.

First Aid Training: Site Foremen.

S.S.S.T.S (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme): Site Foremen.

P.A.S.M.A training (Prefabricated access suppiers' and manufacturers' assocation): Site foremen.

Asbestos Awareness Training: Operatives are asbestos awareness trained and certificated.

Face Fit Testing: All operatives are face fit certified by our in-house qualified face-fit tester.

M.E.W.P.S Training (Mobile elevating work platforms): For projects requiring the use of scissor boom lift platforms.

Wood-care Repair System: An alternative solution to the conventional wood splice repair. Operatives are trained to use this 2 pack resin repair system.

Specialist Coatings:

• Intumescent paint system for regulated fire protection.
• 3m Scotchtote – Wall re-enforcements system.
• Sempatap Thermal – Solid wall insulation system.

Giving people the opportunity to a career and job development. 2018 has seen Shield bring through another 4 young employees under the age of 21 to develop train and hone their skills for the future evolvement of the business
